The Envirocycle Composter Review

Just recently I have noticed a large surge in sales of the Envirocycle Composter and felt that it should be given a proper review. I have written about other urban compost tumblers, and how I feel that the Achla is one of the best. You can read the compost tumbler review by clicking the link. It is certainly one of the best composters available. Let's see what all the fuss is about with the Envirocycle compost tumbler, and see how it compares.

The Envirocycle Spinning Tumbler Compost Bin

The envirocycle can be purchased via the link above, you can also read more envirocycle reviews there as well. So let's get on with the envirocycle composter review.

Coming in at under $130 it is certainly very well priced. Many spinning compost tumblers can be a little on the expensive side, not that they aren't worth the money, but some of us have relatively small budgets for compost bins. A low priced compost tumbler certainly means that more of us are likely to buy one, and the envirocycle composter is about as cheap as you can get for a compost tumbler.

So, apart from price what else has it got going for it?

The envirocyle compost bin is made from 50% recycled plastic so at least we are maintaining our green credentials if we purchase this composter drum. This is good news and a reason in itself to buy it.

What the main advantage is though is that it can be rolled. With many other compost tumblers you will be shovelling out the contents in to a wheelbarrow or something similar. The envirocyle composter can be rolled off its base and then rolled to wherever you wish to apply the compost.

This simple ease of rolling your compost tumbler directly to where you want to lay the compost is an advantage over nearly all the other composting tumblers available. It has a removable door to easily empty the contents. A simple door that can be easily taken off is a great little addition to a spinning composter and will certainly make life a little easier.

When you purchase you are also given an instruction booklet to help you with your use of the composter. This will be especially useful if it is your first time using spinning compost tumblers.

Other Advantages To The Envirocycle Composter

Apart from this great innovation what else makes the envirocycle compost tumbler a good buy? Well, it comes with an extensive guarantee which is always a sure sign of quality. It is also fairly easy to turn which is invaluable.

As with all compost tumblers, the distinct advantage they have over conventional compost bins is that they are sealed units. This means no flies, no smells and they keep animals and rodents away. Animals attacking the compost heap is a real problem for many composters, so a sealed unit is perfect if you have this problem.

You get a nice choice of a few colors and the envirocycle composter in black is the best seller. Darker colors means the contents heat up quickly and this means faster compost. If you do buy the envirocycle model then I would get the black one. There are a few other similar designs available for compact spinning composters but the reviews are not as good and the materials do not seem to be of the same quality. If you want a cheap compost tumbler I would stick to theis model above others.

Well, that is about it for the envirocycle composter review. It seems like a perfectly good compost tumbler. I think though that I still prefer the Achla model. It may just be a little easier to rotate the contents once full than with the envirocycle. However, because of its compact size the envirocycle model will be preferable for many gardeners. A small and compact tumbling compost bin is what many will prefer.

It takes up less room and does look very nice in its design. If you are limited for space I would certainly buy the envirocycle composter.
