Rotating Composter Reviews

You may recall my compost tumbler review from a while ago. I wanted to make an update on the rotating composter and talk a little about what has been happening here at the urban compost tumbler site.

The rotating composter has really taken off in the last year or so. As more people spend time in their gardens they want to clean up the place. With open compost heaps or bins there is always an element of mess involved. The compost and decaying matter seems to spread out of its containment zone no matter what you do. Added to this is the very real problem of vermin and neighbourhood pets coming to investigate and having a good dig around.

This is why the rotating composter has become so popular. It is clean, actually gives a positive impression in the garden because the designs are so good, and most importantly it makes compost in a crazily short period of time.

So, lets get on to the rotating composter review.

A Review Of The Best Rotating Composter

I am amazed at the response to my review of compost tumblers. It has seen a large increase in sales for that product and I will now give you the reasons why and the best possible composter for ease of use, price, and all around efficiency.

.

The Achla CMP-05 Spinning Horizontal Composter is by far the best rotating composter and by far the top seller. It has numerous benefits and this does not only mean the fact that the price is reasonable. As I have stated previously the fact that it is a horizontal model makes it perfect for all gardeners. Upright compost tumblers can be cumbersome to rotate once they are partially filled. The weight is all at the bottom and inverting them can be hard work.

With a horizontal model you don't have that problem. You simply turn the handle and the drum rotates. Simple. This makes it by far the best choice. There are more expensive models at higher prices, including dual chamber rotating compost tumblers, but unless you want to spend some serious cash then the Achla is a perfect choice. I have been contacted by a few people who stated that they bought two Achlas rather than one dual chamber model. This is very sensible and still works out considerably cheaper.

Next there is the design element. It is very easy to put together and the work involved is minimal. It will not take long and the life span of the model is very long as many accounts will testify to. It is black which means it absorbs heat very well which makes the compost even faster.

The fact that it also looks so good should not be overlooked. This is important if it is not to be hidden away. You will find it difficult to find a better looking way of making compost in the garden.

I hope this has gone some way to helping you choose a rotating composter and that you benefitted from this rotating composter review.
